كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ
Kalla inna kitaba alfujjari lafee sijjeenin
YUSUFALI: Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin.
PICKTHAL: Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin –
SHAKIR: Nay! most surely the record of the wicked is in the Sijjin.
KHALIFA: Indeed, the book of the wicked is in Sijjeen.
৭। না। নিশ্চয় পাপাচারীদের আমলনামা [ রক্ষিত ] আছে সিজ্জিনে ৬০১৩
৬০১৩। মূল শব্দ ‘Sijn’ থেকে ‘Sijjin’ শব্দটি উদ্ভুদ। ‘Sijn’ শব্দটির অর্থ কারাগার। ১৮নং আয়াতে ‘Illiyin’ শব্দটির বিপরীত অর্থ বহন করে শব্দটি। সুতারাং তফসীরকারদের মতে সিজ্জীন হচ্ছে কারাগার ; যেখানে পাপীদের আমলনামা রাখা হয়।
