আর যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে তারাই তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে সিদ্দীক ও শহীদ বলে বিবেচিত। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পুরস্কার ও জ্যোতি এবং যারা কাফের ও আমার নিদর্শন অস্বীকারকারী তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী হবে।
And those who believe in (the Oneness of) Allâh and His Messengers, they are the Siddiqûn (i.e. those followers of the Prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them), and the martyrs with their Lord, they shall have their reward and their light. But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism) and deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they shall be the dwellers of the blazing Fire.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيقُونَ وَالشُّهَدَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Waallatheena amanoo biAllahi warusulihi ola-ika humu alssiddeeqoona waalshshuhadao AAinda rabbihim lahum ajruhum wanooruhum waallatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo bi-ayatina ola-ika as-habu aljaheemi
YUSUFALI: And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject Allah and deny Our Signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire.
PICKTHAL: And those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal, and the martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of hell-fire.
SHAKIR: And (as for) those who believe in Allah and His messengers, these it is that are the truthful and the faithful ones in the sight of their Lord: they shall have their reward and their light, and (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, these are the inmates of the hell.
KHALIFA: Those who believed in GOD and His messengers are the saints and martyrs. Reserved for them at their Lord are their rewards and their light. As for those who disbelieved and rejected our revelations, they have incurred Hell.
১৯। এবং যারা আল্লাহ্ ও তার রাসুলে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে, তাদের প্রভুর চোখে তারাই হচ্ছে [ সত্যের প্রতি আন্তরিক] সিদ্দিক ৫২৯৯ এবং সত্যের সাক্ষী [শহীদ] ৫৩০০। তাদের জন্য আছে পুরষ্কার এবং আলো ৫৩০১। কিন্তু যারা আল্লাহকে প্রত্যাখান করে এবং আমার নিদর্শনসমূহ অস্বীকার করে তারা হচ্ছে জাহান্নামের আগুনের অধিবাসী।
৫২৯৯। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৪ : ৬৯ ] ও টিকা ৫৮৬ ; যেখানে আধ্যাত্মিক জগতের বাসিন্দাদের চার শ্রেণীতে বিভক্ত করা হয়েছে। এরা হলেন :
১) রসুলেরা যারা সত্যকে শিক্ষা দেন
২) সত্যনিষ্ঠ যারা সত্যকে প্রাণের থেকেও ভালোবাসেন। এরা হলেন সিদ্দিক যেমন রাসুলের ( সা) সাহাবীরা।
৩) সাক্ষ্যদাতা বা শহীদ যারা সত্যের ঝাঞা উত্তোলন করেন এবং
৪ ) পূণ্যাত্মা যারা ভালো কাজ করেন। [৫৭ : ১৮ ]।
এই আয়াতে রসুল, সিদ্দিক ও শহীদের উল্লেখ আছে এবং আয়াত ১৮ নং উল্লেখ আছে পূণ্যাত্মাদের যারা দানশীল এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম ঋণ প্রদান করেন।
৫৩০০। শহীদ হচ্ছেন তারাই যারা সত্যের ঝান্ডা নির্ভয়ে নির্ভিকভাবে উত্তোলন করে রাখেন। সকল বাধা বিপত্তি ও বিপর্যয়ের মাঝেও তারা সত্যের ঝান্ডাকে অবদমিত হতে দেন নাই। শহীদ শুধুমাত্র রক্তক্ষয়ী সংগ্রামের মাধ্যমেই অর্জন করতে হবে এ কথা সত্য নয়। কথায় আছে, ” অসির থেকে মসী বেশী শক্তিশালী।” সেভাবেই লেখনীর মাধ্যমে, বক্তৃতা বা উপদেশের মাধ্যমে, কর্মের মাধ্যমে আলোচনার মাধ্যমে সত্যের বাণী প্রচার ও প্রসার করা সম্ভব। এ ব্যাপারে সকল বাধা বিপত্তিকে এসব প্রচারকরা উপেক্ষা করেন। এরা সকলেই শহীদ শ্রেণীভূক্ত।
৫৩০১। লক্ষ্য করুন সিদ্দিক ও শহীদের আধ্যাত্মিক জগতে সর্বোচ্চ সম্মান দান করা হয়েছে। রসুলদের পরেই তাদের স্থান। আয়াত ১৮তে উল্লেখিত দানশীল পুরুষ ও রমনীদের ন্যায় তাঁদেরও পুরষ্কৃত করা হবে, তবে তাদের জন্য আরও রয়েছে – তাঁরা নিজেরাই হবেন আলোর উৎস। যে আলোতে শত শত মোমেন ব্যক্তি তাদের পথের নিশানা খুঁজে পাবে। অর্থাৎ তাঁদের কর্ম, তাদের চিন্তা শুধু যে তাঁদেরই নিজস্ব আধ্যাত্মিক জগতকে আলোকিত করবে তাই-ই নয় সেই আলোকে আল্লাহ্র নেক বান্দারা পথের নির্দ্দেশনা খুঁজে পাবে।
