যেদিন আল্লাহ তাদের সকলকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর সামনে শপথ করবে, যেমন তোমাদের সামনে শপথ করে। তারা মনে করবে যে, তারা কিছু সৎপথে আছে। সাবধান, তারাই তো আসল মিথ্যাবাদী।
On the Day when Allâh will resurrect them all together (for their account), then they will swear to Him as they swear to you (O Muslims). And they think that they have something (to stand upon). Verily, they are liars!
يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ
Yawma yabAAathuhumu Allahu jameeAAan fayahlifoona lahu kama yahlifoona lakum wayahsaboona annahum AAala shay-in ala innahum humu alkathiboona
YUSUFALI: One day will Allah raise them all up (for Judgment): then will they swear to Him as they swear to you: And they think that they have something (to stand upon). No, indeed! they are but liars!
PICKTHAL: On the day when Allah will raise them all together, then will they swear unto Him as they (now) swear unto you, and they will fancy that they have some standing. Lo! is it not they who are the liars?
SHAKIR: On the day that Allah will raise them up all, then they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they think that they have something; now surely they are the liars.
KHALIFA: The Day will come when GOD resurrects them all. They will swear to Him then, just as they swear to you now, thinking that they really are right! Indeed, they are the real liars.
১৮। একদিন আল্লাহ্ তাদের সকলকে উত্থিত করবেন [ বিচারে জন্য ] তখন তারা আল্লাহ্র নিকট শপথ করবে ৫৩৫৯, এখন যেমন তারা তোমাদের নিকট শপথ করছে। এবং তারা মনে করে যে তারা [ প্রতিষ্ঠিত আছে ] ভালো কিছুর উপরে। না, অবশ্যই না। তারা তো মিথ্যাবাদী।
৫৩৫৯। শেষ বিচারের দিনের মোনাফেকদের মানসিক অবস্থার বর্ণনা এখানে দেয়া হয়েছে। প্রথমে তারা এ দিনের প্রকৃত তাৎপর্য ও ভয়াবহতা উপলব্ধি করতে পারবে না। তাদের ধারণা হবে, পৃথিবীতে তারা যেরূপ মিথ্যা ভাষণ ও মিথ্যা শপথ দ্বারা জনগণকে বিভ্রান্ত করতো, ঠিক সেই একই ভাবে তারা পরলোকের জীবনেও মিথ্যা শপথ দ্বারা আল্লাহ্র জ্ঞানকে বিভ্রান্ত করতে সক্ষম হবে। কিন্তু তা করতে তারা সক্ষম হবে না কারণ তাদের যে ধারণা তারা “ভালো কিছুর উপরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত রয়েছে ” – সে ধারণা ভুল প্রমাণিত হবে। তাদের সকল প্রচেষ্টা ভিত্তিহীন মিথ্যা ভিত্তির উপরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত। মিথ্যা সর্বদাই মিথ্যা – তা শেষ পর্যন্ত ধ্বংস হবেই। সুতারাং মিথ্যার মূল্যহীন প্রলোভন থেকে মুক্ত হওয়ার প্রয়োজনীয়তা সকলে অনুধাবন করুক।
