আমরা জানি না পৃথিবীবাসীদের অমঙ্গল সাধন করা অভীষ্ট, না তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের মঙ্গল সাধন করার ইচ্ছা রাখেন।
’And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path.
وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا
Waanna la nadree asharrun oreeda biman fee al-ardi am arada bihim rabbuhum rashadan
YUSUFALI: ‘And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct.
PICKTHAL: And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them.
SHAKIR: And that we know not whether evil is meant for those who are on earth or whether their Lord means to bring them good:
KHALIFA: ” `We have no idea if something bad is intended for the inhabitants of Earth, or if their Lord wills to redeem them.
১০। ” এবং আমরা বুঝতে পারি না, যারা পৃথিবীতে আছে তাদের জন্য কোন অমঙ্গলের উদ্দেশ্যে করা হয়েছে ৫৭৩৫, না তাদের প্রভু [ প্রকৃতই ] তাদের মঙ্গল আকাঙ্খা করেন।
৫৭৩৫। এই আয়াতগুলি জ্বিনদের বক্তব্য। কোরাণের যুগান্তকারী সত্য জ্বিন বা অশুভ শক্তির উপাসনাকারীদের জন্য ছিলো সম্পূর্ণ নূতন। এর উপমা হচ্ছে জ্বলন্ত তরবারীর ন্যায় যা অন্ধকার বা মিথ্যাকে ছিন্ন ভিন্ন করে দেয় এবং সত্যের বাণীকে পৃথিবীর সম্মুখে উদ্ভাসিত করে তোলে। জ্বিনেরা মুক্তকন্ঠে স্বীকার করে যে, তারা জানে না যে, কোরাণের বাণী মানুষের মঙ্গল সাধন করবে, না মানুষ তা প্রত্যাখানের মাধ্যমে নিজের অমঙ্গল ডেকে আনবে। কিন্তু তারা প্রকৃত সত্যকে অনুধাবনে সক্ষম হয়েছিলো যে, যদি কেউ প্রকৃত হেদায়েত কামনা করে তবে কোরাণ হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র আর্শীবাদ।
