তাদের দৃষ্টি থাকবে অবনমিত; তারা হবে হীনতাগ্রস্ত। এটাই সেইদিন, যার ওয়াদা তাদেরকে দেয়া হত।
With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!
خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
KhashiAAatan absaruhum tarhaquhum thillatun thalika alyawmu allathee kanoo yooAAadoona
YUSUFALI: Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised!
PICKTHAL: With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised.
SHAKIR: Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with.
KHALIFA: With their eyes subdued, shame will cover them. That is the day that is awaiting them.
৪৪। তাদের নেত্রদ্বয়, বিষাদে নত হবে; অপমান তাদের [ সর্বাঙ্গ ] আচ্ছন্ন করবে। এই হবে সে দিন, যার সম্বন্ধে তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছিলো।
