তারা মিথ্যারোপ করছে এবং নিজেদের খেয়াল-খুশীর অনুসরণ করছে। প্রত্যেক কাজ যথাসময়ে স্থিরীকৃত হয়।
They belied (the Verses of Allâh, this Qur’ân), and followed their own lusts. And every matter will be settled [according to the kind of deeds (for the doer of good deeds, his deeds will take him to Paradise, and similarly evil deeds will take their doers to Hell)].
وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ
Wakaththaboo waittabaAAoo ahwaahum wakullu amrin mustaqirrun
YUSUFALI: They reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time.
PICKTHAL: They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decision
SHAKIR: And they call (it) a lie, and follow their low desires; and every affair has its appointed term.
KHALIFA: They disbelieved, followed their opinions, and adhered to their old traditions.
০৩। তারা [সর্তকবাণীকে ] প্রত্যাখান করে এবং তাদের [নিজ ] প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করে। কিন্তু প্রত্যেক জিনিষের জন্য রয়েছে এক [ পূর্ব] নির্ধারিত সময়কাল ৫১৩০।
৫১৩০। “পূর্ব নির্ধারিত সময়কাল” – অর্থাৎ পৃথিবীর জীবনে যা পাপ ও অন্যায় তা প্রথমে অপ্রতিহত গতিতে চলে এবং সত্য ও ন্যায় অবদমিত হয়ে থাকে। কিন্তু তা ক্ষণস্থায়ী। কারণ আল্লাহ্র আইন হচ্ছে পাপের ধ্বংস ও সত্যের বিজয় ও স্থায়ীত্ব। তবে পাপীদের জন্যও একটি সময়কালকে
আল্লাহ নির্ধারিত করে দিয়েছেন।
