যারা ঈমানদার এবং যাদের সন্তানরা ঈমানে তাদের অনুগামী, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের সাথে মিলিত করে দেব এবং তাদের আমল বিন্দুমাত্রও হ্রাস করব না। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি নিজ কৃত কর্মের জন্য দায়ী।
And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned.
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
Waallatheena amanoo waittabaAAat-hum thurriyyatuhum bi-eemanin alhaqna bihim thurriyyatahum wama alatnahum min AAamalihim min shay-in kullu imri-in bima kasaba raheenun
YUSUFALI: And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds.
PICKTHAL: And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of nought of their (life’s) work. Every man is a pledge for that which he hath earned.
SHAKIR: And (as for) those who believe and their offspring follow them in faith, We will unite with them their offspring and We will not diminish to them aught of their work; every man is responsible for what he shall have wrought.
KHALIFA: For those who believed, and their children also followed them in belief, we will have their children join them. We never fail to reward them for any work. Every person is paid for what he did.
২১। এবং যারা বিশ্বাসী এবং যাদের পরিবারবর্গ তাদের বিশ্বাসের অনুগামী হয় ৫০৫৪,- তাদের সাথে তাদের পরিবারবর্গকে একত্রে মিলিত করাবো। তাদের কাজের জন্য [ পুরষ্কার থেকে ] কিছুই কমাবো না। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি তার নিজ নিজ কর্মফলের সাথে আবদ্ধ রয়েছে ৫০৫৫।
৫০৫৪। ‘Zurriyat’ অর্থাৎ পরবর্তী প্রজন্ম, সন্তান-সন্ততি, পরিবার ইত্যাদি যারা আপনজন তাদের সকলের জন্য শব্দটি প্রযোজ্য। ভালোবাসা সর্বদাই নিঃস্বার্থ হয়; ভালোবাসার জনের জন্য লোকে আত্মত্যাগ করে। এখানে বলা হয়েছে সৎকর্মপরায়ন পিতৃপুরুষ দ্বারা তাদের সন্তানেরা উপকৃত হবে, শর্ত হচ্ছে তারাও তাদের ক্ষমতা অনুযায়ী ঈমানে বিশ্বস্ত থাকবে। তাদের আমল কিছু কম হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের পূণ্যের দরুণ তাদের সাথে মিলিত হওয়ার সৌভাগ্য অর্জন করবে। আবার এর জন্য পূর্বপুরুষদের আমল কিছুমাত্র হ্রাস করা হবে না।
৫০৫৫। যারা নবীর উম্মত তাদের উপরে নবীর ভালোবাসা বা নেকবান পূর্বপুরূষদের দোয়া বা পরবর্তী বংশধরদের দোয়া বা নেক বান্দাদের দোয়া আল্লাহ্ কুবল করেন সত্য, তবে একের গোনাহ্র প্রতিক্রিয়া অন্যের উপরে প্রতিফলিত হবে না। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি তাঁর আমলের জন্য দায়ী হবে। পরবর্তী বা পূর্ববর্তী প্রজন্মের উপরে দোয়া কবুল হওয়ার পূর্বশর্ত হচ্ছে ঈমান ও সৎ কাজ। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিই তার স্ব-স্ব কৃতকর্মের জন্য দায়ী থাকবে। আল্লাহ্র রাজত্বে কোনও বংশ গৌরবের স্থান নাই বা পূর্বপুরুষের নেকীর বদৌলতে নিজ কৃতকর্মের জবাবদিহিতা থেকে নিষ্কৃতি পেতে পারে এমন বিধান নাই। তবে পূণ্যাত্মাদের জন্য এই সুসংবাদ দান করা হয়েছে যে, যদি তাদের পরবর্তী প্রজন্মে কোনও যোগ্য উত্তরসূরী জন্মলাভ করে, তবে সে তাদের সাথে মিলিত হওয়ার সৌভাগ্য অর্জন করবে।
