অতএব, তোমরা আস্বাদন কর, আমি কেবল তোমাদের শাস্তিই বৃদ্ধি করব।
So taste you (the results of your evil actions); no increase shall We give you, except in torment.
فَذُوقُوا فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
Fathooqoo falan nazeedakum illa AAathaban
YUSUFALI: “So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds); for no increase shall We grant you, except in Punishment.”
PICKTHAL: So taste (of that which ye have earned). No increase do We give you save of torment.
SHAKIR: So taste! for We will not add to you aught but chastisement.
KHALIFA: Suffer the consequences; we will only increase your retribution.
৩০। ” সুতারাং [ তোমাদের কর্মের ফল ] আস্বাদন কর। শাস্তি বৃদ্ধি ব্যতীত তোমাদের জন্য অন্য কিছু অনুমোদন করবো না। ৫৯০৩
৫৯০৩। যদি অনুতপ্ত না হয়, তবে পাপীদের অন্তরে পাপ করার প্রবণতা উত্তরোত্তর বৃদ্ধি পেতে থাকবে। ফলে পাপীদের আধ্যাত্মিক জগত ধীরে ধীরে ক্রমান্বয়ে অন্ধকার থেকে আরও গাঢ় অন্ধকারে নিমজ্জিত হয়ে পড়বে। সুতারাং ধীরে ধীরে তাদের শাস্তির পরিণামও বৃদ্ধি পেতে থাকবে।
