অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন, তারা বাকবিতন্ডা ও ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করুক সেই দিবসের সম্মুখীন হওয়া পর্যন্ত, যে দিবসের ওয়াদা তাদের সাথে করা হচ্ছে।
So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised.
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّى يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
Fatharhum yakhoodoo wayalAAaboo hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee yooAAadoona
YUSUFALI: So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!-
PICKTHAL: So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised,
SHAKIR: Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened;
KHALIFA: Therefore, let them blunder and play, until they meet the day that is awaiting them.
৪২। অতএব, ওদের নিরর্থক কথাবার্তা এবং ক্রীড়া কৌতুকে মত্ত থাকতে দাও ৫৭০৩, যতক্ষণ না তারা সেদিনের সম্মুখীন হয়, যে সম্পর্কে তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হয়েছিলো।
৫৭০৩। অবিশ্বাসীদের সন্দেহ, বাক্ বিতন্ডা বৃথা। কারণ এর দ্বারা তারা কোনও লাভই করতে সক্ষম হবে না। এটা হচ্ছে তাদের বোকামী, তাদের মত যারা দূরদৃষ্টিহীন ও গভীর ভাবে চিন্তা করতে অক্ষম। তারা অস্বীকার করলেও এবং শেষ বিচারের দিন সম্বন্ধে অমনোযোগী থাকলেও তা অবশ্যই আসবে যার বর্ণনা আছে পরবর্তী দুটি আয়াতে।
