অতএব, কাফেরদের কি হল যে, তারা আপনার দিকে উর্ধ্বশ্বাসে ছুটে আসছে।
So what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten to listen from you (O Muhammad SAW), in order to belie you and to mock at you, and at Allâh’s Book (this Qur’ân).
فَمَالِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ
Famali allatheena kafaroo qibalaka muhtiAAeena
YUSUFALI: Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee-
PICKTHAL: What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed,
SHAKIR: But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you,
KHALIFA: What is keeping those who disbelieved from joining you?
৩৬। অবিশ্বাসীদের কি হলো যে, ওরা পাগলের মত তোমার দিকে ছুটে আসছে – ৫৬৯৮
৩৭। দক্ষিণ ও বাম দিক থেকে, দলে দলে ?
৫৬৯৮। ” ওরা পাগলের মত তোমার দিকে ছুটে আসছে ” – কাফেররা পরলোকের অস্তিত্বে বিশ্বাস করে না। রাসুল (সা) এর কুরআন তেলাওয়াত এবং তাতে জান্নাত ও জাহান্নামের বর্ণনা শুনে কাফেররা রাসুলের (সা) প্রতি ধাবিত হতো কোরাণের বর্ণিত বিষয় নিয়ে ব্যঙ্গ বিদ্রূপ করার মানসে। কিন্তু বাইরে তারা ভাব করতো যে, তারা তা শোনার জন্য ধাবিত হচ্ছে। এদেরকেই সাবধান করা হয়েছে ব্যঙ্গ বিদ্রূপাত্মক ভাষায়।
