এমনিভাবে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের কাছে যখনই কোন রসূল আগমন করেছে, তারা বলছেঃ যাদুকর, না হয় উম্মাদ।
Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: ”A sorcerer or a madman!”
كَذَلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
Kathalika ma ata allatheena min qablihim min rasoolin illa qaloo sahirun aw majnoonun
YUSUFALI: Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, “A sorcerer, or one possessed”!
PICKTHAL: Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman!
SHAKIR: Thus there did not come to those before them a messenger but they said: A magician or a mad man.
KHALIFA: Consistently, when a messenger went to the previous generations, they said, “Magician,” or, “Crazy.”
৫২। এভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের নিকট যখনই কোন রাসুল এসেছে, তারা তাকে বলেছে, ” তুমি তো এক যাদুকর,না হয় এক উম্মাদ ৫০২৯। ”
৫০২৯। “তুমি তো এক যাদুকর, না হয় এক উম্মাদ “। এ কটুক্তি কাফেররা হযরত মুসা সম্বন্ধে করেছিলো [ ৫১ : ৩৯ ]। এই একই বাক্য তারা প্রয়োগ করে রাসুলে করীম হযরত মুহম্মদ ( সা) সম্বন্ধে [ ৩৮ : ৪] ; [ ৪৪ : ১৪ ]।
