অফলাঙ্ক্ষিভির্যজ্ঞো বিধিদৃষ্টো য় ইজ্যতে ।
য়ষ্টব্যমেবেতি মনঃ সমাধায় স সাত্ত্বিকঃ ॥ ১৭-১১॥

অফলাকাঙ্ক্ষিভিঃ = by those devoid of desire for result
য়জ্ঞঃ = sacrifice
বিধিদিষ্টঃ = according to the direction of scripture
য়ঃ = which
ইজ্যতে = is performed
য়ষ্টব্যং = must be performed
এব = certainly
ইতি = thus
মনঃ = mind
সমাধায় = fixing
সঃ = it
সাত্ত্বিকঃ = in the mode of goodness.
