সত্ত্বং রজস্তম ইতি গুণাঃ প্রকৃতিসম্ভবাঃ ।
নিবধ্নন্তি মহাবাহো দেহে দেহিনমব্যয়ম্ ॥ ১৪-৫॥
সত্ত্বং = the mode of goodness
রজঃ = the mode of passion
তমঃ = the mode of ignorance
ইতি = thus
গুণাঃ = the qualities
প্রকৃতি = material nature
সম্ভবাঃ = produced of
নিবধ্নন্তি = do condition
মহাবাহো = O mighty-armed one
দেহে = in this body
দেহীনং = the living entity
অব্যয়ং = eternal.
