কবিং পুরাণমনুশাসিতার-
মণোরণীয়ংসমনুস্মরেদ্যঃ ।
সর্বস্য ধাতারমচিন্ত্যরূপ-
মাদিত্যবর্ণং তমসঃ পরস্তাত্ ॥ ৮-৯॥
কবিং = the one who knows everything
পুরাণং = the oldest
অনুশাসিতারং = the controller
অণোঃ = than the atom
অণীয়াংসং = smaller
অনুস্মরেত্ = always thinks of
য়ঃ = one who
সর্বস্য = of everything
ধাতারং = the maintainer
অচিন্ত্য = inconceivable
রূপং = whose form
আদিত্যবর্ণং = luminous like the sun
তমসঃ = to darkness
পরস্তাত্ = transcendental.
