নাসতো বিদ্যতে ভাবো নাভাবো বিদ্যতে সতঃ ।
উভয়োরপি দৃষ্টোঽন্তস্ত্বনয়োস্তত্ত্বদর্শিভিঃ ॥ ২-১৬॥
ন = never
অসতঃ = of the nonexistent
বিদ্যতে = there is
ভাবঃ = endurance
ন = never
অভাবঃ = changing quality
বিদ্যতে = there is
সতঃ = of the eternal
উভয়োঃ = of the two
অপি = verily
দৃষ্টঃ = observed
অন্তঃ = conclusion
তু = indeed
অনয়োঃ = of them
তত্ত্ব = of the truth
দর্শিভিঃ = by the seers.
