ব্রাহ্মণক্ষত্রিয়বিশাং শূদ্রাণাং চ পরন্তপ ।
কর্মাণি প্রবিভক্তানি স্বভাবপ্রভবৈর্গুণৈঃ ॥ ১৮-৪১॥
ব্রাহ্মণ = of the brahmanas
ক্ষত্রিয় = the ksatriyas
বিশাং = and the vaisyas
শূদ্রাণাং = of the shudras
চ = and
পরন্তপ = O subduer of the enemies
কর্মাণি = the activities
প্রবিভক্তানি = are divided
স্বভাব = their own nature
প্রভবৈঃ = born of
গুণৈঃ = by the modes of material nature.
