য়ামিমাং পুষ্পিতাং বাচং প্রবদন্ত্যবিপশ্চিতঃ ।
বেদবাদরতাঃ পার্থ নান্যদস্তীতি বাদিনঃ ॥ ২-৪২॥
কামাত্মানঃ স্বর্গপরা জন্মকর্মফলপ্রদাম্ ।
ক্রিয়াবিশেষবহুলাং ভোগৈশ্বর্যগতিং প্রতি ॥ ২-৪৩॥
য়ামিমাং = all these
পুষ্পিতাং = flowery
বাচং = words
প্রবদন্তি = say
অবিপশ্চিতঃ = men with a poor fund of knowledge
বেদবাদরতাঃ = supposed followers of the Vedas
পার্থ = O son of Pritha
ন = never
অন্যত্ = anything else
অস্তি = there is
ইতি = thus
বাদিনঃ = the advocates
কামাত্মানঃ = desirous of sense gratification
স্বর্গপরাঃ = aiming to achieve heavenly planets
জন্মকর্মফলপ্রদাং = resulting in good birth and other fruitive reactions
ক্রিয়াবিশেষ = pompous ceremonies
বহুলাং = various
ভোগ = in sense enjoyment
ঐশ্বর্য = and opulence
গতিং = progress
প্রতি = towards.
