সুহৃন্মিত্রার্যুদাসীনমধ্যস্থদ্বেষ্যবন্ধুষু ।
সাধুষ্বপি চ পাপেষু সমবুদ্ধির্বিশিষ্যতে ॥ ৬-৯॥
সুহৃত্ = to well-wishers by nature
মিত্র = benefactors with affection
অরি = enemies
উদাসীন = neutrals between belligerents
মধ্যস্থ = mediators between belligerents
দ্বেষ্য = the envious
বন্ধুষু = and the relatives or well-wishers
সাধুষু = unto the pious
অপি = as well as
চ = and
পাপেষু = unto the sinners
সমবুদ্ধিঃ = having equal intelligence
বিশিষ্যতে = is far advanced.
