আল্লাহর দ্বীন মেনে নেয়ার পর যারা সে সম্পর্কে বিতর্কে প্রবৃত্ত হয়, তাদের বিতর্ক তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে বাতিল, তাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর গযব এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাব।
And those who dispute concerning Allâh (His Religion of Islâmic Monotheism, with which Muhammad SAW has been sent), after it has been accepted (by the people), of no use is their dispute before their Lord, and on them is wrath, and for them will be a severe torment[1] .
وَالَّذِينَ يُحَاجُّونَ فِي اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ
Waallatheena yuhajjoona fee Allahi min baAAdi ma istujeeba lahu hujjatuhum dahidatun AAinda rabbihim waAAalayhim ghadabun walahum AAathabun shadeedun
YUSUFALI: But those who dispute concerning Allah after He has been accepted,- futile is their dispute in the Sight of their Lord: on them will be a Penalty terrible.
PICKTHAL: And those who argue concerning Allah after He hath been acknowledged, their argument hath no weight with their Lord, and wrath is upon them and theirs will be an awful doom.
SHAKIR: And (as for) those who dispute about Allah after that obedience has been rendered to Him, their plea is null with their Lord, and upon them is wrath, and for them is severe punishment.
KHALIFA: Those who argue about GOD, after receiving His message, their argument is nullified at their Lord. They have incurred condemnation, and have deserved a severe retribution.
১৬। আল্লাহকে মেনে নেবার পরে যারা তার সম্পর্কে তর্ক করে ৪৫৪৯ , তাদের যুক্তি তর্ক তাদের প্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে অসার। তাদের উপরে [আল্লাহ্র ] গজব রয়েছে এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ভয়াবহ শাস্তি।
৪৫৪৯। “আল্লাহকে মেনে নেবার পরে “। এই লাইনটির অর্থ বিশ্বাসীরা আল্লাহ্র প্রতি ঈমান আনার পর অবিশ্বাসীরা তর্কবির্তকের মাধ্যমে তাদের বিশ্বাসের প্রতি অবজ্ঞা ও অপমান প্রদর্শন করে। কিন্তু তাদের এই কূট তর্ক বিশ্বাসীদের বিশ্বাসের ভিত্তি দুর্বল করতে অক্ষম। কারণ বিশ্বাসীদের বিশ্বাসের ভিত্তি , বিশ্বাস ও অবিশ্বাসীদের বৃথা ও অসাড় তর্কে দুর্বল হওয়ার নয়। বরং তাদের এই অসাড় তর্ক তাদের উপরেই প্রতিক্ষিপ্ত হয়। আল্লাহ্র ক্রোধ তাদের উপরে নিপতিত হয় ইহকালে , ও পরকালে তাদের দুরভিসন্ধি মূলক পরিকল্পনার জন্য আছে ভয়াবহ শাস্তি।
