সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি নভোমন্ডলে যা আছে এবং ভূমন্ডলে যা আছে সব কিছুর মালিক এবং তাঁরই প্রশংসা পরকালে। তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।
All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. His is all the praises and thanks in the Hereafter, and He is the AllWise, the AllAware.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
Alhamdu lillahi allathee lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi walahu alhamdu fee al-akhirati wahuwa alhakeemu alkhabeeru
YUSUFALI: Praise be to Allah, to Whom belong all things in the heavens and on earth: to Him be Praise in the Hereafter: and He is Full of Wisdom, acquainted with all things.
PICKTHAL: Praise be to Allah, unto Whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. His is the praise in the Hereafter, and He is the Wise, the Aware.
SHAKIR: (All) praise is due to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and to Him is due (all) praise in the hereafter; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
KHALIFA: Praise be to GOD – to whom belongs everything in the heavens and the earth; all praise is also due to Him in the Hereafter. He is the Most Wise, the Cognizant.
০১। সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহ্র ৩৭৮৫, আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সব কিছু যার অধিকারে। পরকালেও সকল প্রশংসা তারই। এবং তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময় , সকল বিষয়ে অবহিত।
৩৭৮৫। আকাশ, পৃথিবী, বিশ্বব্রহ্মান্ড আল্লাহ্র প্রশংসায় মশ্গুল। অর্থাৎ আল্লাহ্র সৃষ্টি আল্লাহ্র করুণা ,দয়া , মহত্ব, ক্ষমতা , জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞার স্বাক্ষর। পৃথিবীর সকল সৌন্দর্য্য আল্লাহ্র নামে আরোপিত [ ৭ : ১৮০ এবং ১৭ : ১১০ এবং টিকা সমূহ ]। আল্লাহ্র সম্বন্ধে ধ্যান করার অর্থ হচ্ছে, তাঁর আরোপিত বিভিন্ন গুণবাচক নাম যা শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহ্র জন্য-ই আরোপ করা হয়েছে , তা আত্মার মাঝে উপলব্ধির চেষ্টা করা। এই চেষ্টা মানুষের আত্মার মাঝে মনঃজগতকে সত্যের আলোতে প্রত্যাদেশের ন্যায় উদ্ভাসিত করবে। আল্লাহ্কে মনের মাঝে, আত্মার মাঝে ধারণ করার চেষ্টা কে পাঁচটি সূরাতে সমানভাবে বন্টন করে দেয়া হয়েছে। সূরাগুলিতে প্রথমেই আল্লাহ্র প্রশংসা আত্মাকে মহিমান্বিত করার কারণ বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। এই সূরাগুলি হচ্ছে ১নং , ৬নং, ১৮নং, ৩৪নং এবং ৩৫নং সূরা। ৩৪ নং সূরাতে গুরুত্ব আরোপ করা হয়েছে আল্লাহ্র জ্ঞান, ও করুণার স্বাক্ষর যা সর্ব সৃষ্টির মাঝে বিদ্যমান , তা অনুধাবন করার উপরে। তিনি আকাশমন্ডলী অর্থাৎ আমাদের চেনা জানা আকাশের সীমানার বাইরে অনন্ত মহাশূন্যের এবং সীমাহীন সময়ের , এবং আমাদের চেনা জানা পৃথিবীর সকল কিছুর-ই স্রষ্টা ও মালিক। এগুলির অনুভবের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্কে আত্মার মাঝে অনুভব ও উপলব্ধি করতে হবে।
