Verily, we are about to bring down on the people of this town a great torment from the sky, because they have been rebellious (against Allâh’s Command).”
إِنَّا مُنزِلُونَ عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاء بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ
Inna munziloona AAala ahli hathihi alqaryati rijzan mina alssama-i bima kanoo yafsuqoona
YUSUFALI: “For we are going to bring down on the people of this township a Punishment from heaven, because they have been wickedly rebellious.”
PICKTHAL: Lo! We are about to bring down upon the folk of this township a fury from the sky because they are evil-livers.
SHAKIR: Surely We will cause to come down upon the people of this town a punishment from heaven, because they transgressed.
KHALIFA: “We will pour upon the people of this town a disaster from the sky, as a consequence of their wickedness.”
৩৪। ” আমরা এই জনপদের অধিবাসীদের উপরে আকাশ থেকে শাস্তি আনায়ন করতে যাচ্ছি ৩৪৫৬। কারণ তারা পাপাচারে নিমগ্ন। ”
৩৪৫৬। লূতের সম্প্রদায়ের শাস্তি ছিলো : তাদের উপরে আশমান থেকে পাথর বৃষ্টি হয়েছিলো যা সম্পূর্ণ শহরকে ঢেকে দেয়। সম্ভবতঃ তা ছিলো ভূমিকম্প ও আগ্নেয়গিরির আগ্নেয়পাত।
