এরপর আযাব তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করল। নিশ্চয় এতে নিদর্শন আছে। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাসী নয়।
But the Penalty seized them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Faakhathahumu alAAathabu inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mu/mineena
YUSUFALI: But the Penalty seized them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
PICKTHAL: So the retribution came on them. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers.
SHAKIR: So the punishment overtook them. Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.
KHALIFA: The retribution overwhelmed them. This should be a lesson, but most people are not believers.
১৫৮। কিন্তু শাস্তি উহাদের পাকড়াও করলো, অবশ্যই এতে রয়েছে নিদর্শন। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাস করে না।
