তারা বলল, তুমি উপদেশ দাও অথবা উপদেশ নাই দাও, উভয়ই আমাদের জন্যে সমান।
They said: “It is the same to us whether thou admonish us or be not among (our) admonishers!
قَالُوا سَوَاء عَلَيْنَا أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ الْوَاعِظِينَ
Qaloo sawaon AAalayna awaAAathta am lam takun mina alwaAAitheena
YUSUFALI: They said: “It is the same to us whether thou admonish us or be not among (our) admonishers!
PICKTHAL: They said: It is all one to us whether thou preachest or art not of those who preach;
SHAKIR: They said: It is the same to us whether you admonish or are not one of the admonishers
KHALIFA: They said, “It is the same whether you preach, or do not preach.
১৩৬। তারা বলেছিলো, ” তুমি আমাদের উপদেশ দাও অথবা নাই দাও, উভয়েই আমাদের জন্য সমান ! ৩২০১
৩২০১। আ’দ সম্প্রদায়ের উদ্ধত অহংকারকে এই আয়াতের মাধ্যমে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। তাদের নবী হুদ কে উদ্দেশ্য করে তারা এই উক্তি করেছিলো।
