আমি যদি ইচ্ছা করি, তবে আকাশ থেকে তাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন নাযিল করতে পারি। অতঃপর তারা এর সামনে নত হয়ে যাবে।
If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.
إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّن السَّمَاء آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ
In nasha/ nunazzil AAalayhim mina alssama-i ayatan fathallat aAAnaquhum laha khadiAAeena
YUSUFALI: If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.
PICKTHAL: If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it.
SHAKIR: If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it.
KHALIFA: If we will, we can send from the sky a sign that forces their necks to bow.
০৪। [এই ] যদি আমার ইচ্ছা হতো, তবে আমি আকাশ থেকে তাদের জন্য এমন নিদর্শন পাঠাতাম যে বিনয়ে তাদের ঘাড় অবনত হয়ে পড়তো ৩১৪০।
৩১৪০। আল্লাহ্র ইচ্ছাই আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা – এই বিশ্বভূবন ও বিশ্ব ব্রহ্মান্ডের পরিচালনার। আল্লাহ্ যদি তার পরিকল্পনায় মানুষকে স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তি দানের ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ না করতেন , তবে বিশ্ব ভূবনে মানুষের স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তি থাকতো না। অন্যান্য প্রাণীদের ন্যায় সে শুধু নিজ প্রবণতা [Instinct] যা বিশ্ব বিধাতা তার মাঝে আরোপ করেছেন তা দ্বারাই পরিচালিত হতো। কিন্তু আল্লাহ্ তা না করে মানুষকে “সীমিত আকারে স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তি ” দান করেছেন, আবার সেই “ইচ্ছাশক্তিকে ” সঠিক পথে পরিচালনার জন্য যুগে যুগে নবীদের মাধ্যমে প্রত্যাদেশ প্রেরণ করেছেন, যাতে মানুষ আত্মিক উন্নতির সন্ধান লাভ করে। সুতারাং মানুষের স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তি আল্লাহ্রই ইচ্ছা বা পরিকল্পনার অংশ।
