পাপ ক্ষমাকারী, তওবা কবুলকারী, কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা ও সামর্থøবান। তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। তাঁরই দিকে হবে প্রত্যাবর্তন।
Who forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). there is no god but He: to Him is the final goal.
غَافِرِ الذَّنبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقَابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
Ghafiri alththanbi waqabili alttawbi shadeedi alAAiqabi thee alttawli la ilaha illa huwa ilayhi almaseeru
YUSUFALI: Who forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). there is no god but He: to Him is the final goal.
PICKTHAL: The Forgiver of sin, the Accepter of repentance, the Stern in punishment, the Bountiful. There is no Allah save Him. Unto Him is the journeying.
SHAKIR: The Forgiver of the faults and the Acceptor of repentance, Severe to punish, Lord of bounty; there is no god but He; to Him is the eventual coming.
KHALIFA: Forgiver of sins, acceptor of repentance, strict in enforcing retribution, and possessor of all power. There is no other god beside Him. To Him is the ultimate destiny.
০৩। যিনি পাপ ক্ষমা করে দেন, অনুতাপ গ্রহণ করেন, ৪৩৫৮ , যিনি শাস্তি দানে কঠোর , শক্তিশালী। তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কোন উপাস্য নাই। তার নিকটেই সকলের শেষ প্রত্যাবর্তন।
৪৩৫৮। আল্লাহ্র জ্ঞান সর্বোচ্চ, তা সব কিছুকে স্পর্শ করে থাকে। আল্লাহ্র অন্যান্য আরোপিত গুণ বা বিশেষণ যা আমাদের গভীরভাবে আগ্রহী করে তা হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্ আমাদের অনুতাপকে গ্রহণ করবেন, যদি তা আন্তরিক হয় এবং পূর্বের সকল পাপ ক্ষমা করে দেবেন। আন্তরিক অনুতাপ পাপীর জীবনকে সম্পূর্ণ পরিবর্তিত করে দেয়। সেই সাথে তিনি ন্যায় বিচারকও – শাস্তি দানে কঠোর। সুতারাং পাপীদের পলায়নের কোনও উপায় থাকবে না ; একমাত্র অনুতাপের মাধ্যমেই পাপীদের অব্যহতি পাওয়া সম্ভব। এ ব্যতীত আল্লাহ্র অন্যান্য গুণবাচক আরোপিত বিশেষণ সকলের জন্য সমভাবে প্রযোজ্যঃ তাঁর দয়া , জ্ঞান ও ন্যায়বিচার , তাঁর অনুগ্রহ এবং শাস্তি।
