কিন্তু যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, তাদের জন্যে নির্মিত রয়েছে প্রাসাদের উপর প্রাসাদ। এগুলোর তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ প্রতিশ্রুতির খেলাফ করেন না।
But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah. never doth Allah fail in (His) promise.
لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ
Lakini allatheena ittaqaw rabbahum lahum ghurafun min fawqiha ghurafun mabniyyatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharu waAAda Allahi la yukhlifu Allahu almeeAAada
YUSUFALI: But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise.
PICKTHAL: But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are lofty halls with lofty halls above them, built (for them), beneath which rivers flow. (It is) a promise of Allah. Allah faileth not His promise.
SHAKIR: But (as for) those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have high places, above them higher places, built (for them), beneath which flow rivers; (this is) the promise of Allah: Allah will not fail in (His) promise.
KHALIFA: As for those who reverence their Lord, they will have mansions upon mansions constructed for them, with flowing streams. This is GOD’s promise, and GOD never breaks His promise.
২০। যারা তাদের প্রভুকে ভয় করে , তাদের জন্য রয়েছে একের উপরে এক নির্মিত আড়ম্বরপূর্ণ প্রাসাদ ৪২৭১। তাদের নীচে প্রবাহিত হচ্ছে [ আনন্দের ] ফল্গুধারা। এটাই আল্লাহ্র অঙ্গীকার। আল্লাহ্ কখনও তার প্রতিজ্ঞা ভঙ্গ করেন না ৪২৭২।
৪২৭১। দেখুন সূরা [ ২৯ : ৫৮ ] আয়াত এবং [ ৩৪ : ৩৭ ] আয়াত। এই আয়াতে বেহেশতের ধারণা দান করা হয়েছে। পৃথিবীর বর্ণনার সাথে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে তা হবে ছবির মত মনোরম সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদগুলি একের উপরে একটি বিন্যস্ত , যার পাদদেশে ছোট নদী বয়ে যাবে।
৪২৭২। ‘Ma’ad’ অর্থ আল্লাহ্র প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণ করার সময় , স্থান ও উপায়। আল্লাহ্র প্রতিশ্রুতি পালিত হবেই আমাদের ধারণার থেকেও উত্তমরূপে তা পালিত হবে।
