যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রিকালে সেজদার মাধ্যমে অথবা দাঁড়িয়ে এবাদত করে, পরকালের আশংকা রাখে এবং তার পালনকর্তার রহমত প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ করে না; বলুন, যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না; তারা কি সমান হতে পারে? চিন্তা-ভাবনা কেবল তারাই করে, যারা বুদ্ধিমান।
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord – (like one who does not)? Say: “Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ آنَاء اللَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَائِمًا يَحْذَرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ
Amman huwa qanitun anaa allayli sajidan waqa-iman yahtharu al-akhirata wayarjoo rahmata rabbihi qul hal yastawee allatheena yaAAlamoona waallatheena la yaAAlamoona innama yatathakkaru oloo al-albabi
YUSUFALI: Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord – (like one who does not)? Say: “Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
PICKTHAL: Is he who payeth adoration in the watches of the night, prostrate and standing, bewaring of the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, (to be accounted equal with a disbeliever)? Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Are those who know equal with those who know not? But only men of understanding will pay heed.
SHAKIR: What! he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his Lord! Say: Are those who know and those who do not know alike? Only the men of understanding are mindful.
KHALIFA: Is it not better to be one of those who meditate in the night, prostrating and staying up, being aware of the Hereafter, and seeking the mercy of their Lord? Say, “Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.
০৯। যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রির বিভিন্ন যামে সিজ্দাবনত হয়ে ও দাঁড়িয়ে আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করে ৪২৫৮ যে পরলোককে ভয় করে , এবং যার আশা- আকাঙ্খা তার প্রভুর অনুগ্রহের উপরে নির্ভরশীল [ সে কি তার সমান যে নির্ভর করে না ] ? বল : ” যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না , তারা উভয়েই কি সমান ? বোধশক্তি সম্পন্ন লোকেরাই কেবল উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে থাকে ৪২৫৯।”
৪২৫৮। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৩ : ১১৩ – ১১৭ ]। পার্থিব জীবনের একমাত্র লক্ষ্য হওয়া উচিত বিনয়ের সাথে ভক্তিভরে আল্লাহ্র প্রতি আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করা। মোমেন বান্দাদের জন্য পরলোকের জীবনের জন্য পার্থিব জীবন। পরলোকের অনন্ত জীবনই তাদের নিকট প্রকৃত সত্য। সেই জীবনের জন্য মোমেন বান্দারা ইহকালে প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করে থাকেন। তাঁদের মূলধন হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র করুণা ও দয়ার প্রত্যাশা। সে কারণে তারা হয় সিজ্দায় অবনত , বিনয়ী ও অনুগত। পার্থিব অহংকার বা দম্ভকে তারা ত্যাগ করে। এরাই হচ্ছেন সেই বান্দা যারা আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ লাভ করেন, ফলে তাদের মাঝে জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞার জন্ম লাভ ঘটে এবং তারা উৎসাহ ও তৎপরতার সাথে আল্লাহ্র প্রত্যাদেশকে গ্রহণ করে থাকেন। যারা অবিশ্বাসী কাফের তারা এসব মোমেন বান্দাদের সাথে তুলনা যোগ্য বলে আল্লাহ্র চোখে বিবেচিত নয়।
৪২৫৯। দেখুন সূরা [ ৩ :১৯ ] আয়াত , যেখানে মোমেন বান্দা ও কাফেরদের তুলনা করা হয়েছে।
