لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ
Litunthira qawman ma onthira abaohum fahum ghafiloona
YUSUFALI: In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah).
PICKTHAL: That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
SHAKIR: That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
KHALIFA: To warn people whose parents were never warned, and therefore, they are unaware.
০৬। যেনো, তুমি সর্তক করতে পার এমন এক সম্প্রদায়কে যাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা কোন সর্তকবাণী প্রাপ্ত হয় নাই ৩৯৪৬। সুতারাং [তারা আল্লাহ্র নিদর্শন সম্বন্ধে ] মনোযোগ দেয় না।
৩৯৪৬। রাসুলের পূর্বে কোরেশদের মাঝে কোনও নবীর আগমন ঘটে নাই। সুতারাং তাদের মধ্যে থেকে একজনকে আল্লাহ্র বাণী প্রচারের জন্য প্রেরণ করা হয়। সারা পৃথিবীর জন্য যে ঐশী বাণী হবে আল্লাহ্র রহমত স্বরূপ।
