অতঃপর যারা মন্দ কর্ম করত, তাদের পরিণাম হয়েছে মন্দ। কারণ, তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলত এবং সেগুলো নিয়ে ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রূপ করত।
Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they belied the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, Messengers, etc.) of Allâh and made mock of them.
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاؤُوا السُّوأَى أَن كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِؤُون
Thumma kana AAaqibata allatheena asaoo alssoo-a an kaththaboo bi-ayati Allahi wakanoo biha yastahzi-oona
YUSUFALI: In the long run evil in the extreme will be the End of those who do evil; for that they rejected the Signs of Allah, and held them up to ridicule.
PICKTHAL: Then evil was the consequence to those who dealt in evil, because they denied the revelations of Allah and made a mock of them.
SHAKIR: Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they | rejected the communications of Allah and used to mock them.
KHALIFA: The consequences for those who committed evil had to be evil. That is because they rejected GOD’s revelations, and ridiculed them.
১০। যারা মন্দ কাজ করে শেষ পর্যন্ত তাদের পরিণাম হবে মন্দ ৩৫১৬। কারণ তারা আল্লাহ্র আয়াত অস্বীকার করতো এবং তা নিয়ে ঠাট্টা বিদ্রূপ করতো।
৩৫১৬। পৃথিবীর এই জীবনে ভালো ও মন্দ ওতপ্রোতভাবে মিশে আছে , ঠিক যেমন থাকে আলো ও অন্ধকার। অনেক সময়েই দেখা যায় , যা মন্দ বা যারা মন্দ তারা আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ লাভ করে ধন্য ; অপরপক্ষে , ভালো বা যারা ভালো, তারা নির্যাতিত ও বঞ্চিত। এ কথা মনে রাখতে হবে যে মন্দের এই সমৃদ্ধি স্থায়ী সমৃদ্ধি নয়। এই সমৃদ্ধি খুবই স্বল্পকালীন স্থায়ী। সময়ের বৃহত্তর পরিসরে মন্দ তাঁর প্রতিফল পাবে। তাদের মন্দ কর্মফল ধীরে ধীরে মহাকালের গর্ভে সঞ্চিত হয় এবং একদিন তার বিস্ফোরণ ঘটে। তাদের দম্ভ, শক্তি, ক্ষমতা , সমৃদ্ধি কালের পরিক্রমায় ,তাদের কর্মফলের দরুন তাদের নিশ্চিহ্ন করে দেয়। তা হচ্ছে তারা আল্লাহ্র আয়াতকে প্রত্যাখান করেছিলো , ভালোকে পরিত্যাগ করে মন্দকে গ্রহণ করেছিলো। আল্লাহ্র এই সাবধান বাণী সর্বকাল ও সর্ব যুগের জন্য। পৃথিবীতে শেষ পর্যন্ত ন্যায় , সত্য ও ভালো স্থায়ীত্ব লাভ করবে এবং অন্যায় , অসত্য ও মন্দ ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে।
