আমি তাদেরকেও পরীক্ষা করেছি, যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই জেনে নেবেন যারা সত্যবাদী এবং নিশ্চয়ই জেনে নেবেন মিথ্যুকদেরকে।
And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allâh will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allâh knows all that before putting them to test).
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ
Walaqad fatanna allatheena min qablihim falayaAAlamanna Allahu allatheena sadaqoo walayaAAlamanna alkathibeena
YUSUFALI: We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.
PICKTHAL: Lo! We tested those who were before you. Thus Allah knoweth those who are sincere, and knoweth those who feign.
SHAKIR: And certainly We tried those before them, so Allah will certainly know those who are true and He will certainly know the liars.
KHALIFA: We have tested those before them, for GOD must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.
০৩। আমি তো এদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম এবং অবশ্যই জেনে নেবো কারা সত্যবাদী কারা মিথ্যাবাদী ৩৪২৪।
৩৪২৪। দেখুন টিকা ৪৬৭ ও আয়াত [ ৩ : ১৫৪ ]। আল্লাহ্র পরীক্ষার উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে আমাদের চরিত্রের দোষত্রুটি দূর করে আত্মিক পরিশুদ্ধ করা।
