তোমরা তাদেরকে ডাকলে তারা তোমাদের সে ডাক শুনে না। শুনলেও তোমাদের ডাকে সাড়া দেয় না। কেয়ামতের দিন তারা তোমাদের শেরক অস্বীকার করবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর ন্যায় তোমাকে কেউ অবহিত করতে পারবে না।
If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad SAW) like Him Who is the AllKnower (of each and everything).
إِن تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ
In tadAAoohum la yasmaAAoo duAAaakum walaw samiAAoo ma istajaboo lakum wayawma alqiyamati yakfuroona bishirkikum wala yunabbi-oka mithlu khabeerin
YUSUFALI: If ye invoke them, they will not listen to your call, and if they were to listen, they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgment they will reject your “Partnership”. and none, (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things.
PICKTHAL: If ye pray unto them they hear not your prayer, and if they heard they could not grant it you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown association with you. None can inform you like Him Who is Aware.
SHAKIR: If you call on them they shall not hear your call, and even if they could hear they shall not answer you; and on the resurrection day they will deny your associating them (with Allah); and none can inform you like the One Who is Aware.
KHALIFA: If you call on them, they cannot hear you. Even if they hear you, they cannot respond to you. On the Day of Resurrection, they will disown you. None can inform you like the Most Cognizant.
১৪। যদি তোমরা তাদের আহ্বান কর তারা তোমার ডাক শুনবে না ৩৮৯৫, এবং তারা শুনলেও তোমাদের [প্রার্থনার ] উত্তর দিতে পারবে না। শেষ বিচারের দিনে তারা তোমাদের [আরোপিত ] অংশদারিত্বকে প্রত্যাখান করবে ৩৮৯৬। [হে মানুষ ] কেহই তোমাকে তাঁর মত [ সত্য ] অবহিত করতে পারে না , যিনি সর্বজ্ঞ ৩৮৯৭।
৩৮৯৫। মিথ্যা উপাস্যের উপাসনা মূল্যহীন , উদ্দেশ্যবিহীন।মিথ্যা উপাস্যেরা কিছু শুনতে অক্ষম , প্রার্থনা মঞ্জুর করার ক্ষমতা রাখে না। প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারাও সকলে আল্লাহ্র সৃষ্ট জীব যেমন : ফেরেশতারা , দেবতুল্য ব্যক্তিত্ব ইত্যাদি। কেয়ামতের দিনে এ সব মিথ্যা উপাস্যরা এ সব উপাসনাকে প্রত্যাখান করবে। তারা আল্লাহ্র সাথে প্রতিযোগীতার অংশীদারিত্বকে সম্পূর্ণ অস্বীকার করবে।
৩৮৯৬। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১০ : ২৮ ] ও টিকা ১৪১৮ এবং আয়াত [ ৩৪ : ৪০ – ৪১ ]। যে ধ্যান ধারণা ও বিশ্বাস সত্যের উপরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত নয় – সে সব মিথ্যা কেয়ামতের দিনে পরিত্যক্ত হবে এবং প্রকৃত সত্যকে সেদিন প্রতিষ্ঠিত করা হবে। তবে সময় থাকতে পৃথিবীর জীবনে প্রকৃত সত্যকে গ্রহণের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ ও করুণা লাভ থেকে তারা নিজেদের বঞ্চিত করে কেন ?
৩৮৯৭। ” যিনি সর্বজ্ঞ ” – অর্থাৎ আল্লাহ্র ন্যায়। একমাত্র আল্লাহ্-ই সর্বজ্ঞ। আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত কেহই প্রকৃত সত্যের জ্ঞান আমাদের দিতে পারে না। কারণ আল্লাহ্ জ্ঞানে ,প্রজ্ঞায় তুলনাবিহীন এবং সর্বজ্ঞ। তবে কেন আমরা তাঁর প্রেরিত প্রত্যাদেশকে গ্রহণ করি না। তাঁর নির্দ্দেশিত পথকে অনুসরণ করি না ?
