বরং আমি সত্যকে মিথ্যার উপর নিক্ষেপ করি, অতঃপর সত্য মিথ্যার মস্তক চুর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ করে দেয়, অতঃপর মিথ্যা তৎক্ষণাৎ নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়ে যায়। তোমরা যা বলছ, তার জন্যে তোমাদের দুর্ভোগ।
Nay, We fling (send down) the truth (this Qur’ân) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Us) (against Allâh by uttering that Allâh has a wife and a son).
بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ
Bal naqthifu bialhaqqi AAala albatili fayadmaghuhu fa-itha huwa zahiqun walakumu alwaylu mimma tasifoona
YUSUFALI: Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us).
PICKTHAL: Nay, but We hurl the true against the false, and it doth break its head and lo! it vanisheth. And yours will be woe for that which ye ascribe (unto Him).
SHAKIR: Nay! We cast the truth against the falsehood, so that it breaks its head, and lo! it vanishes; and woe to you for what you describe;
KHALIFA: Instead, it is our plan to support the truth against falsehood, in order to defeat it. Woe to you for the utterances you utter.
১৮। আমি সত্য দ্বারা মিথ্যাকে আঘাত করি, ফলে উহা মিথ্যাকে চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করে দেয় এবং দেখো, মিথ্যা ধ্বংস হয়ে যায়। হায়! দুর্ভোগ তোমাদের। তোমরা [ আমার ] সম্বন্ধে যে মিথ্যা আরোপ করছো তার জন্য ২৬৭৮।
২৬৭৮। পৃথিবীতে বিভিন্ন সময়ে আল্লাহ্র নামে মিথ্যা আরোপ করা হয় যেমন ১) আল্লাহ্র সাথে অংশীদার কল্পনা করা হয় [ ২১ : ২২ ] অথবা ২) আল্লাহ্র ছেলে আছে [ ২১ : ২৬ ] অথবা ৩) আল্লাহ্র কন্যা সন্তান আছে [ ১৬: ৫৭ ]। এ সমস্ত আল্লাহ্র নামে মিথ্যা আরোপ করা যা অসম্মানজনক। এই আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে এসব মিথ্যার অন্ধকার সত্যের আলোর অবির্ভাবে চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ হয়ে যায় বা বিদূরিত হয়।
উপদেশ : যদি আয়াতটির অর্থ ব্যপক অর্থে ধরা যায়, তাহলে দেখা যাবে যে, পৃথিবীতে মিথ্যার স্থায়ীত্ব স্বল্পকালীন। সত্যের দ্বারা মিথ্যা সর্বদা পরাজিত ও বিদূরীত হয়। এই হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র অমোঘ আইন। ” আমি সত্য দ্বারা আঘাত হানি মিথ্যার উপর ফলে উহা মিথ্যাকে চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করে দেয়। “
