তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা উভয়েই এখান থেকে এক সঙ্গে নেমে যাও। তোমরা একে অপরের শত্রু। এরপর যদি আমার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে হেদায়েত আসে, তখন যে আমার বর্ণিত পথ অনুসরণ করবে, সে পথভ্রষ্ঠ হবে না এবং কষ্টে পতিত হবে না।
(Allâh) said:”Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go astray, nor fall into distress and misery.
قَالَ اهْبِطَا مِنْهَا جَمِيعًا بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّي هُدًى فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَى
Qala ihbita minha jameeAAan baAAdukum libaAAdin AAaduwwun fa-imma ya/tiyannakum minnee hudan famani ittabaAAa hudaya fala yadillu wala yashqa
YUSUFALI: He said: “Get ye down, both of you,- all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another: but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery.
PICKTHAL: He said: Go down hence, both of you, one of you a foe unto the other. But when there come unto you from Me a guidance, then whoso followeth My guidance, he will not go astray nor come to grief.
SHAKIR: He said: Get forth you two therefrom, all (of you), one of you (is) enemy to another. So there will surely come to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My guidance, he shall not go astray nor be unhappy;
KHALIFA: He said, “Go down therefrom, all of you. You are enemies of one another. When guidance comes to you from Me, anyone who follows My guidance will not go astray, nor suffer any misery.
১২২। কিন্তু তাঁর প্রভু [ অনুগ্রহের জন্য ] তাকে মনোনীত করেছিলেন। তিনি তার দিকে ফিরলেন এবং তাঁকে পথ নির্দ্দেশ দান করলেন।
১২৩। তিনি বলেছিলেন, ” তোমরা উভয়েই একই সঙ্গে জান্নাত থেকে নেমে যাও; তোমরা পরস্পর পরস্পরের শত্রু ২৬৪৬। যদি আমার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের নিকট পথ নির্দ্দেশ আসে, যে আমার পথ নির্দ্দেশ অনুসরণ করবে নিশ্চয়ই সে পথ হারাবে না , বা দুঃখ কষ্ট পাবে না ২৬৪৭।
২৬৪৬। “Ihbita” উভয়ে নামিয়া যাও। এখানে উভয়ে অর্থাৎ আদম ও হাওয়া যারা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষ ছিলেন। অনেকের মতে উভয় অর্থ আদম ও শয়তান। [ ২ : ৩৮ ] আয়াতে “Ihbitu” হচ্ছে বহুবচন যা ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে শয়তান ও মানুষ সকলের জন্য। এখানে মানুষ অর্থ সকল মনুষ্য সম্প্রদায়। কিন্তু শয়তান তো পূর্বেই বেহেশত থেকে বিতাড়িত হয়েছে। সুতারাং বেহেশতে শুধুমাত্র দুজনেরই থাকার অধিকার ছিলো। হযরত আদম ও বিবি হাওয়া। তাহলে এখানে আদম ও বিবি হাওয়াকে সম্বোধন করা হয়েছে। ইংরেজী অনুবাদ হয়েছে : He said, “get ye down,/ Both of you all together,/ From the garden, with enmity/ One to another” একই সঙ্গে “সকলে” শব্দটি দ্বারা শয়তানকে অন্তর্গত করা হয়েছে। এবং ” পরস্পরের শত্রু ” বাক্যটি দ্বারা মানুষ ও শয়তানের মাঝে অনন্তকাল স্থায়ী শত্রুতাকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ মানুষের সুপ্রবৃত্তির ও কুপ্রবৃত্তির সংগ্রামকে বোঝানো হয়েছে।
২৬৪৭। যে আল্লাহ্র নির্দ্দেশ অনুসরণ করবে, সে বিপথগামী হবে না বা পাপে আসক্ত হবে না, এবং পরিণামে হতাশা ও দুঃখ কষ্ট থেকে রক্ষা পাবে। আয়াতে [ ২ : ৩৮ ] সম্বোধন করা হয়েছে বহুবচনে, ” যাহারা আমার সৎ পথের নির্দ্দেশ অনুসরণ করবে”। এই আয়াতে একবচনে, ” যে আমার পথ অনুসরণ করিবে।” একবচনে সম্বোধন করা হলেও এর বক্তব্য সকলের জন্যই প্রযোজ্য।
